How to Bake a Chocolate Cake Take: 375 g. softened butter, 1 1/3 cup brown sugar, 3 eggs, 2 cups self-raising flower, 2/3 cup double sifted cacao, 3/4 cup milk and 200 g. melted dark chocolate. Preheat the oven to 160?C. Mix butter and sugar until light and creamy. Gradually add the eggs and beat well. Fold through the flower and cacao, stir in the milk and chocolate. Spoon the mixture into a 22 cm. round cake tin with baking paper. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer. When baked, allow to cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack. Dust with extra cacoa. Serve with single or pouring cream. Serves 7. http://www.jacquelinedeputter.nl
